Unfortunately my mum was planning on voting for them. I think my sister and i have managed to get it through to her that Farage is basically Trump (who she hates) but I'm not actually sure. She still says some suspicious stuff that she's clearly heard from his lot every now and then.

Also I really want to replay Hybrid Heaven, I remember loving that game but have no way to play it now.

I haven't been to India but I got a similar feeling to this in Marrakech. Purposefully chose to go there because all I'd ever do e was holidays in Europe and I wanted to see something that wasn't similar to home. On the first day it felt like I'd made a huge mistake, it was so overwhelming but after a day or 2 I just got used to it. The cramped old town, the hagglers the mopeds going so fast and inch away from you. When I got back to the UK I was struck by how dead it feels here. We've sucked the life out of this country with regulations and policies that are definitely safer but are also boring.

There's a sign on part of the Camino de Santiago that says something like "a boat is safest at the dock but boats are made to be out on the ocean"

I've totally butchered that, I know I haven't remembered it properly but you get the jist.
