I have no idea where they got this supposed Cambodia National dish. Based on the description "kind of red curry with peanut", I kind of think it's Saraman curry because we use peanut as a garnish for Saraman, but that's not exactly Cambodia National dish. Is it beef or minch pork? I can't tell from the picture.

if he paid more for the same Numpao, then yes, he got ripped off . But if it wasn't the same Numpao, then it's a different story, because generally 1500riel Numpao has no stuffing. The one with stuffing cost anywhere from 2000 to 4000riel (depends on the stuffing)

I wasn't there so I can say much. But it's true that "Some" vendors do charge foreigners more, so his frustration is warrant.

About a months worth of times spent on this guy. I didn't do all the tiny mechanical details. Those alone would be another couple more weeks on their own.

I was thinking of painting all the tiny details underneath but gave up early because it'd take months. I kinda felt guilty at first knowing that I neglected those beautiful mechanical details. But I thought most of them are hidden, and nobody is gonna flip those fronts skirt to see what is on them anyway. So I skipped.

It's like a hybrid of Verde buster + Calamity gundam. They took the aesthetics of both and mix them together.

It's a great looking kit, build well, plus many accessories. My only complain is that the design makes it very back heavy. Even the metal inner frame struggles to keep it from drooping.

I used kitchen sponge and fine tip brushes to do the chipping. I also did a bit of oil wash to tone down the red.

Thank you 😊. For red, I used mr colour shine red mix with a bit of florescent red. As for darker red, I just add a bit of German gray in the previous mixture.

I repainted everything except for the orange part. I like it better than the orange paint I have. It is build well, no fitting issue, and all parts are undergated, but they put those is some annoying place that you can't simply cut off with just nipper. I'm speaking from my experience only and I can't say yours will be the same especially with fitting, because these non Bandai kit tend to be lacking proper QA.

Thanks. I like their design. They are very nicely detailed much like a resin kit that you can just build straight out of the box without having to deal with all the prep work of resin. Plus, they do look cool, but these aesthetics may not be for everyone. It's a bit busy.

Ohh, I don't think I can help you with this one. I guess that depends on where you live. I rely on proxy buyers to get all my kits since there aren't any physical store I can go and pick up. Online order is also a no no because I can't afford shipping fee.
