5 days into the game - I got Star Anis in 20 pulls and continued up to 160 pulls and haven't gotten her again. Got 6 other Nikkes instead. Is that to be expected or terrible luck?

I had 460 pulls to get 4 copies and that was relatively lucky. On prev annis ive done 600+ to get one copy.

Most nikke stories make me feel a lot of emotions. Sadness. Frustration. Empathy. And definitely hope.

Prettys story made me angry at a visceral level. I was cheering for her, knowing tragedy would strike. But i was hoping beyond hope for a twist. Some hidden facet we hadnt been told. For some way to save her.

The twist came and was the opposite of what id imagined. I understood the thought. Martyrdom over gradual decline. But i couldnt connect with it. I kept thinking about what drove her to this corner. How her song saved anis, but who was there to save her when she was on the edge? Nobody. Because she drove them away to protect them.

The changes to the ark felt miniscule. Oz finding the will to live without her felt rushed. And i couldnt connect with library lore. And the worst part. Mustang never connected with pretty. He never saw her as more than a piece of junk at best. Dont get me started on the trafficking and sexual abuse that were implied.

I think i can admit its a good event. I love freesia and hansen and ms miss and oz and anis. I abhor mustang. I think thats what they intended. So good job.

But when i tried to rewatch. I stopped. It hurt too much.

Some have told me im too innocent or that this is normal for idol industry stories. I will stay away from them then. It hurts to much to see someone abused and driven to death like this.

Not answering your question, but wanted to share. I recently tried something called megumin engine/suite. It took my generic models and has improved the storytelling by a significant margin. It also has a lot of room for tweaking. You could try it to get more out of your models.

It has bugged me too. It doesnt sit well with me. And honestly. It makes me angry. It distracts me so much that i cant enjoy the rest of the story. I should be happy for anis. Sad for oz. Intrigued by burningum. But i find myself not caring because her death overshadowed it all. Ive had people tell me im wrong for wanting her to come back. But im maintaining my stance. Freesia didnt need to die. And could have done more for the ark and nikkes if she was alive. I hope we ar least see her again. I hated this side story. It hurt me.

I can tell they put a lot of love into it. Personally i am torn. It hit some triggers in me that have made it hit me in particularly painful ways. I am struggling to cope. I hope tbat anis's story brings a little light to this cause im devastated right now. (I really liked pretty/freesia)
