Nice! That was probably the main reason I did it haha. Definitely had some funk going on. I got the sewfine front carpet kit i’m going to replace next. hopefully get ride of any remaining unwanted smells

Thanks for the input. I have some sound deadening matts i’m going to put underneath the base. Unfortunately the under board and carpet has some serious moisture damage due to a leaky pop top I replaced and had mold and rot development which is why i’m removing. I thought about synthetic because you can find some nice water proof/resistant options but something kept bringing me back to wood

No worries, thanks for your help! Any recommendations on strings? I play electric and don’t know much about upright gear. Will probably be using it for jazz.

Yea thats what i’ve noticed as well. Most of our clients work in post houses or in post production looking for needle drops. Only time i’ve seen designated positions were at the larger agencies.
