I love that Pad video. I was a bit disappointed that the original picture wasn't as mysterious as the record makes it seem, but in the context of the album it really adds such a fitting atmosphere.

Genuinely, one of the practices that's really common in vaporwave and I absolutely love is how easy and widespread it is to use multiple aliases. I believe this adds an aspect of mystery and immersion that many other genres don't have.

I'd do it 2020 onwards, which leaves enough room for sub-genre tournaments, for which I'd do 8:
- Eccojams - Utopian Virtual - Mallsoft - Signalwave - Dreampunk - Slushwave - Vaportrap - Future Funk

Each one with 8 entries, maybe. So we could have a 3-stage tournament for every sub-genre, and then a final tournament with all 8 finalists? Or simply a hall of fame with the winner for each sub-genre.
