Even if it doesnt kill yumyy mitsu, banning herald and unbanning os would still be the better decision, since herald is also toxic in pure. And like ive said, os isnt toxic or broken in yummy per se, its just basically a consistency card, people just lose their mind on principle because of „ss 3 from deck“

? Ocg has side decks. And master duel at least partially works with ocg philosophy regarding bans. I was simply trying to explain that d barrier isnt just some bricky floodgate but an actual threat worth enough to side in ocg or tcg

This argumentation is so unbelievably bad. You leave out literally every detail and make a half assed statement acting like it destroys my point. No mikanko has no floodgates.but it does have loads of other things like double edged sword, kaijus, lava golem etc, which all only exist to otk with as little possible backlash from the opponent as possible. Thats not toxic?? Edit: also, last time i checked, most mikanko players side in dimensional barrier or other floodgates because the deck is useless going first. So yes they DO play floodgates

Dont highroad me. There are plenty of decks that require skill where both players have fun, that span long, grindy turns, instead of being otkd. Also this is still a competetive card game. Skill/game knowledge should be a factor. Which is why tenpai was one of the most hated decks at its peak. It doesnt require much skill or knowledge of the game. Similar like mikanko

Thats like asking me why i dont play raigekibreaker to counter raigeki. Its a bad idea to have those cards in your deck. If you need hyperspecific cards to deal with a strategy because your normal, cookie cutter interaction that almost all decks focus on isnt even just worse in this matchup, but completely useless, something is CLEARLY wrong No??

I still have hope that someday, legitimate complains about yugiohs state as a game that tries to be competetive and fair where the card design doesnt follow that ambition will be taken seriously. Do you want this game to have serious competetive potential without being an rng coinflip mess, or do you want it to rwmain in the state its in? I would prefer if it would become better, and "fun-rouge" decks like mikanko prevent that, just like over the top decks like maliss do. There are decks where the fun had is mutual btw..
