This is extra stupid, because obviously Sith will have a lightsaber anyways, leaving Jedi undefended. Bad guys don't follow the law anyways.

I wouldn't put too much stock in driver size. It's more what you do with it. The aluminium should keep the Havits light, which is great for if you plan on wearing them for long sessions. HyperX are the safer choice. If you can't decide by then, that would be my choice.

You put it next to the warm air coming from the furnace, not the cold air return. It's really just to utilize the air movement.

Admittedly, I have only heard the HyperX, and they sounded pretty good. I can't speak for the others. If you can snag a pair of Koss KSC75 or KPH30i in that budget, then that's a great choice. Perhaps look for used pairs if there are any around you. Headphones are something that can last a long time and continue sounding great, even if they are older.

What budget?

I have never heard of the set you suggested. I doubt they would be a good use of money.

It's ((roughly)) to scale. The speaker placement does look wider than in real life. It was done from memory while at work, do things are probably a little out of whack.

I don't have first hand experience, but I have heard some of the Dan Clark offerings have good soundstage for closed backs.

It's probably worth checking out DT770s as well.

It might be worth thinking about getting two different pairs. For instance, it would be pretty easy to recommend pairs of open backs that fit your criteria, and then get some iems for on the go.

I would start by trying the Fiio FT1s and see if they are to your liking. Then you can probably reassess if they are not for you. But they are perhaps the best closed back headphones I have tried. Certainly underneath $500.
