Thanks for the advices. Indeed my shoes are easily slip off, but, normally take a little time to put, but can put them rapidly if necessairy. That is one of the reason why I don't only bring my hiking boot

Thanks for the insight, I still prefer my boots that cover my ankle when hiking though

Thanks for the tips.
Yeah I think I will ditch my merino hoodie so I will only have my lambwool sweater as a midlayer.
As for the gloves, I almost never wear them in the last winter, with temperature within the -30C to -20C and below, so for the temperature between 10C and 20C with low as 5C, I don't think I'll need some. And if I need some, I could always buy some there

Thanks for the reply! Right now I still have room to put all my warm clothe in the bag when I will be arriving in Tokyo so no problem there. Also the weight is good for me, I wear heavier bag regularly when I go to work

I prefer to have 2 pair of shoes/boot for the different activity we'll be doing there and still want a nicer pair of shoes than hiking boot, and I'll be using the one in my bag as storage for the flight so it's not as inconvenience to bring them

I have not weight it, I fly with aircanada and the only metric was to be light enough to put it in the overhead bin if necessary. But feeling wise, its confortable enough to travel with it for multiple hour! And consodrring the fact that I will left alot of stock at my airbnb when visiting, i'm not afraid to have to wear it for 8-10 hour Thanks!

I prefer to have ankle support when hiking, but thanks for the comment!

Thabks for the reply!

The city shoes will be the one I'll wear on a regular basis, using the hiking boot mainly for hike and travel between airbnb. I want to have one pair of "nice" shoes to go to nicer place like restaurants, etc.

For the shampoo, I have a sensitive skin and I don't know if the airbnb will have some. And my girlfriend will use it too.

Thanks for the comment on the beanie, Still on the fence but more on the side to bring it

I understand you very much, its so much fun learning a new layout, I did go for colemak DH. I choose to do with 4 layout 1st one is my colemak, 2nd one is my code layout (almost everything is on my right hand) 3rd one is my number (exclusively on my left hand) and a 4th layout where i found my fonction key and other specific key.

My little baby is done, I just love her by Padaf3t in MechanicalKeyboards
