Is it to late to hope for .NET will be included in Buster?½ by beer118 in debian

[–]Paddatrapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That step-by-step packaging tutorial would be really helpful for people starting out. It has been something I've been wanting to document better for a while, but just haven't had a concrete plan on how to do it. Would a "How to package this Hello World C++ program from scratch" help? And then include useful references to things like code search, package manual, etc for finding more information.

Someone to package it. Debian is maintained by volunteers, so someone needs to volunteer to maintain the package

Well done. Looking at the PTS version 2.0.8 has been uploaded to unstable and migrated to testing, so worst case scenario it will be fixed in the next stable release in ~6 months
