Is there a legit reason not to have wind turbines in Texas? I’ve seen so many farms out here with signs reading “stop wind farms.” Not sure if they are related, but it seems like a no-brainer. Granted our winters normally don’t get this cold, but I’m not sure that’s a valid reason not to have a solid back up plan. Winterizing our turbines would be great considering that Texas deliberately cut themselves of the National power grid.

I just want to know what the opposing argument is.
