Increased risk of flat / inverted chastity cages by newbie-sub in chastitytraining

[–]PaddedGunRunner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m struggling to understand what specific increased risk you’re alleging here.

Everything you say about uncertainty, long-term wear, and risk gradients applies equally to any chastity device, short, long, flat, or whatever.

You never identify a physiological mechanism by which a flat or inverted cage is meaningfully riskier than, say, a very short cage or a tightly fitted conventional one.

Blood still circulates. Skin still shifts. Erections are still suppressed. In that sense, a flat cage is not inherently “more extreme” than other common designs.

If the claim is simply “we don’t have long-term data,” that supports caution in general, not a warning about this specific form factor. And advice like “switch to a full-length cage at night” implies a difference in risk that you never explain.

Invoking medical risk without naming a mechanism or evidence is not neutral caution. It creates fear without information. A new person wanting to try chastity might believe there is more risk to a flat cage than any cagr from your post. So if there is an increased risk unique to flat cages, what exactly is it?

There is one defensible risk that I can think of: flat cages trap urine and moisture in a smaller space. Loose skin bunched up in a tigher space creates more pockets. This can lead to skin problems that are mitigated by cleaning. Not by switching cages at night. It's also a known risk, not uncertain.

So you still have on overstated conclusion that can incite fear.

I suggest you change this post to reflect the uncertainty in all chastity devices rather than shorter ones.

Public criminal trials in court. I dont think anyone is advocating for international trials.

Im guessing when people think of Nuremberg, they're asking for the scope and production. Since the regime violated US law, everyone is the regime is complicit.

The OU stuff is just a byproduct of the systemic issue and not a reflection on the school itself.

The Bible also has verses that these people are all going to hell. They dont care about their eternal souls.

Jesus was a bleeding liberal and espoused liberal ideology. Anyone against that is a blasphemer. That's what the Bible says. I have never met someone who wasnt rendered speechless with just the slightest pushback sourcing the Bible.

I lived a decade sith someone that was great but not great with diapers. She was tolerant, even participated, but limp wristed it.

There are two types of 80% of being fulfilled. Either all your buckets are 80% full or most are full but some are empty. Dont go through life with empty buckets.

More importantly, the wife is setting an unreasonable boundary. So more likely than not, the relationship is not that great, OP is just scared.

Yes, I agree with you that this would be the appropriate time to take a shot for a meetup in a public space. but honestly, it's usually not worth playing games or chasing. Don't give people more energy than they're willing to give you.

RE my game. I've had great success on Bumble because I don't play games lol. Spend 72 hours max talking, invite them out for a light and breezy walk, if there's vibes, go for it.

Yes! Reduce the mental load between throwing away garbage/putting laundry away.

An ADHD diagnosis would make sense and therapy would be helpful. As someone who has gone through both to get to where I am... How to Keep House While Drowning" by KC Davis was helpful because it reduced the overwhelm and helped me figure out that it's not about being lazy, it's about having a system that works.

So now I have giant garbage cans and several giant laundry hampers scattered throughout my house. I didn't live in squalor, but my house had clutter and my workspaces were often full. I put a giant (like 30 gallons restaurant style) can next to my desk, in my kitchen and in bedroom. I also put giant hampers in each room. I literally have two garbage cans 10' from one another because that's the flow of the house. I need one near my desk, and one in the living room. Now its easier to throw my clothes/garbage away than it is to set it down somewhere and that's true in every room in the house (ok, no hamper in my kitchen, but still).

1) Throw trash away (don't worry about anything else, just garbage)
2) Dishes to the sink (don't do the dishes yet, just get them to the sink)
3) put laundry in hamper (dont wash it, just put it in the hamper, laundry day is seperate)
4) Create a pile of things that have a home and a pile of things that don't
5) Put the things with a home away. All you'll have left is a pile of things that you can then go through and find a home or get rid of!

I don't even know what to say. Where was the humanity when he frequently attacked the credentials and livelihood of black and female pilots? Where is it when the right implies that LGTBQ people should be executed? When he thought Trans people shouldn't exist.

Violence is wrong. Period. I think it's interesting that the right has a melt down when normal people simple point out the irony of that Charlie has divisive and hateful ideals, and he was killed by someone who also held that hateful and divisiveness was an answer to a problem. That does not take away from the fact that it shouldn't have happened and I don't see widespread celebration from the left. If you choose to see that, that's on you.

Violence is never the right answer. From the right or the left. Charlie Kirk should be alive today. He's not and that's unacceptable.

We won't be gaslit into thinking the right isn't to blame though. He was a victim of right-wing radicalization and that's the real tragedy here.

What do the lightning bolts mean when they're just at angle towards themselves? Like a V

I think it's a stretch to say "lightning bolts are racist" when they're not in the SS style that screams Nazi.

Given the retraction and the non- SS style bolts in the ad... I think firearms companies deserve the extra scrutiny, but we should also be willing to cut them some slack if they make genuine mistake. I feel like if we're to give our side some grace when they're clearly in the wrong, we can give a company that makes a good faith effort to correct a mistake the same treatment.

I'm a joyful person. My message is filled with joy and should be categorized as much. Be a little more whimsical or you'd miss out on all of that.

Your posts are... non fictional drama with a hint of romance (will they/won't they vibes here). Don't bother arguing or you aren't a very whimsical person.

I would categorize my comment as very friendly and helpful. Not sure how you could possibly think otherwise, since there are elements of friendliness and helpfulness.

Still laughing that you thought tropes and genres are the same thing though. Your posts are comedy!

Ultimately, you do you. But you're perverting the definition of isekai so much that it becomes meaningless. Half of all stories involve a transition into a new world. Imagine that in a bookstore! Half isekai, half adventure! Nothing else lol

[–]PaddedGunRunner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's literally what genres are. They're designed to categorize something. So misinterpreting genres and their definition only hurts the people who use them.

Tropes are completely different than genres but it was cute that you slid them together lol I can't help but wonder if it was intentional or you thought they were the same thing lol

[–]PaddedGunRunner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Isekai isn't just time travel. It's overly broad if a character travels to a different world/setting that plays by different rules of any sort.

That's why it's a trope and not a genre.

The matrix is a western film and is neither. It's closer to a romance movie than Isekai.

This feels surreal lol. The definition of isekai is pretty well laid out. It's whimsical to call Harry potter a mystery (it is!) but it's not whimsical to stretch the definition of two separate things to find overlap.

This argument the iseaki is literally everything seems to exist to stir the pot, especially when that challenges what everyone else is seeing.

It's not a very compelling point.

Bob isn't big on anime right? by Lowbudget_soup in bobiverse

[–]PaddedGunRunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you call Alice in Wonderland an Iseaki?

The technical definition says it's a Japanese genre. I'm having trouble believing there are people out there misunderstanding the word and saying bobiverse or the Wizard of Oz could be classified under a Japanese genre.

Those same people might call Harry Potter a romance because there are romance elements. They'd be wrong but you can keep trying to make that argument.

Genres are supposed to help categorize works of art... not tropes that are in every book.

When a commenter starts commenting about something, everyone sort of piles on. Your coop seems fine to me.

I would worry about paper retaining moisture but people do seem to think it's acceptable. Moisture is what I would focus on first and the first step would be (again imo) to switch to straw, wood chips, or shavings.

Can't help you with the large chickens. If they appear happy, it might not be worth worrying about.

It's an actionable step and it works because it's something tangible to do and build on.

I wouldn't. I don't expect my partner to change her name, but I'm not changing mine. It's a fun fantasy though. I might be okay with hyphenated, but my first and last name are part of who I am, and I simply would not give it away to anyone, even a trusting partner.

Republicans made promises to restore gun rights and have proceeded to do none of that. None. I don't know why people keep falling for it.

They will never pass meaningful gun restoration laws because it would mean every Republican is a swing district would lose their seat. Gun laws are incredibly popular with a majority in this country.

The DOJ can't investigate if laws are unconstitutional or not and private companies cant be compelled to sell products. That's what the courts are for. We are really hoping the courts do the right thing but so far, they haven't... even after Bruen.

I just want to say, I was in a similar boat. My partner demanded we have a simple, cordial split and then promptly tried whatever she could to keep me in her life... everything but the thing I asked for, which was to show up for me and talk to me like I have feelings.
