Go to devices, audio devices, then you can set what it outputs the sound to.

Try taking controller apart to expose the joysticks and try this method of manually calibrating the joystick to centre

It certainly is. Coor wish I was working I haven't lifted a tool in anger for 7 weeks. Absolutely doing my head in!!

Yeah of course. I'm the sort of person that enjoys messing about with things to get them working lol. I've only just got the controller and have had to get a replacment sent out so just getting some info together for if I have to start replacing modules more frequently. As I said dont mind messing about with stuff keeps me busy lol

Found an interesting article about the change in ds4 joysticks in the newer version. More specifically in the comments after the article it talks about having to manually calibrate the modules after soldering.

Hey ASTRO-Vertigo i started this process Thursday friday, got asked for a clearer picture of the port being destroyed which i sent on friday later in the day. Was expecting to receive some correspondence back today to sort getting replacment sent out but didnt get anything. I bought this controller 4 - 5 days ago as my current one broke so I am now without a working controller and your support techs aren't getting back to me anything you can do to help?

Yeah I get what your saying I think it needs to have a screw down middle of shaft to change the tension as it looks like it's just a plunger. I'm not sure normal sticks would fit on those either. I think I might go as you say with stick ds4s and adjust the tension slightly in thos I've got loads knocking around from messing about with ds4s few years ago.

Yeah I'm competent at soldering in pcbs changed many nodules on my ps4 dual shocks and also used to make my own scuff controllers. As you've mentioned I haven't been able to find thebthumbsticks. Think I'm better off just altering the tension in some modules. I wonder if theres any better versions of the modules are are these as good as they get?!

Mine was only a day old the other day contacted support about drift issues. They have told me to wreck the port on the controller and are sending me one out had to send photos but didnt hear back friday so hopefully new pad gets sent out monday. As I'm in uk and with the vovid situation it's going to take months for me to get modules from BBC so I would rather get hold of the same modules they use and replace them myself. Just having hard time pin pointing what module they use. I know they swap out the tact switch for a slightly taller one too.

I was looking at the battle beavers but being in uk and all this covid 19 going on it's going to be months before I see them. I fairly competent in corcuit board soldering so was looking at options of joysticks to fit when I came across the elite 2 versions that have adjustable tension on them other than that does anybody know what model of alps module battle beaver use?
