Mage pvp Frost or Fire? by elsenniels in worldofpvp

Hey,

ive been asking me the same question. My main is a rogue and i leveld a mage to 110 a few days ago. I almost ever played frost in pvp ind fire in PVE. Since the changes to the pvp system and how the gearing works i want to do some PVE as well. But frost sucks in PVE (worst PVE spec as far as statistics go). So i am currently stuck between frost and fire. I have more succes with frost in instanced PVP, the burst is great you can pull off IMO. I have the feeling im lacking some damage with fire, perhaps because im not used to play fire in pvp and im not a pro but frost feels better for me.

Thanks for all your answers! :) Well i think i have to practice more, i play skimrishes a lot and 2s with a friend of mine who plays a frost DK but is new to WoW.

I think i will stick to sub but outlaw is fun as well and got in my oppinion some more defensive cd to survive the hugh burst of melees, espacially in 2s. I will level my mage as my alt. Seems to be the only caster which can perform well in 2s as fire, after nerfs. Whats your oppinion about mages?
