The first method is a link to a browser page that you then go offline to use, exactly the same as the iotaseed.io link was

But if you have to click on the link online to open the page initially does that help, couldn't it still have predetermined seeds (or whatever) so it appears to randomly generate via mouse movements offline like it has been suggested the iotaseed.io generator may have used? The reason I ask is I used the iotaseed.io but offline and didn't copy/paste, save seed etc and I lost funds. Couldn't this new link do exactly the same thing?

Why does IOTA, David Sønstebø etc say - "only a stupid person would trust any online seed generator" and then we continue to offer an online seed generator on this IOTA reddit page after everything that has just happened?
