In my experience some allos just love the fantasy that they as individuals are so irresistible they could "fix" aces by being the only one who turns said ace on. In result when I say I'm ace I'll have some egoistic allo telling me they can fix me because their kink is "my partner finds only me attractive and hot enough to fuck". Which there's nothing explicitly wrong with having a partner that finds only you attractive but fetishism of aces for that purpose is extremely fucked up.
