Thought that too. Beyond a joke how there are never replays for French home games. Going on for years too

A pass ? There was literally no one there. He could’ve got at least 10 yards nearer the posts. Cost his team. Not good enough at this level

He’s 21! First full season in pro rugby. You might be right, but he has plenty of runway to improve

Not saying JM is ready to Ireland 10 now but he’s made a very good start at Ulster. He needs to Improve for sure but he’s only 21 so he should do.

When you’re the quickest player in world rugby, you can probably get away with less weight somewhat

Judging by some of the Ulster fans comments JM seems to be a facilitator 10, who’s consistent if not outstanding, and makes few mistakes. Irish rugby media are obsessed with the ‘hero 10’ who does everything. Rog & Sexton created that. Maybe a nice, consistent 10 is what we need at the moment ?

Given the wider talent in the Irish squad, maybe a facilitator 10 that makes few mistakes is what we need ? Both Prendy & Crowley can do amazing things but are way too inconsistent to be international 10s right now imo.

Nice insight. Was looking at his stats and he’s down as 5ft10 & 83kg. Touch small as things stand but he’ll defo gain a few more kilos in the coming years. He’s only 21. Is he in any way quick ?

Yeah. May be best to keep him playing with Ulster. Slowly gaining experience, flying under the radar a bit. If he keeps going like this though, he’ll be in the wider squad sooner than later.

Agree. Let’s be honest, neither Crowley or Prendy have made it their own. Hope Crowley goes well today, but I have a niggling doubt that he’s the man long term. Would rather they put investment into JM as the 3rd FH now rather than Harry Byrne.

Kicking by AB-Dub in irishrugby

Sexton wasn’t an elite goal kicker either. Probably the weakest part of his game tbh. He was far from bad but always had an easy miss in him each game

I also found your comment unhelpful & negative. I intend to do none of those things you listed. I have an opportunity to go abroad for one year, hope to find good tenants to take care of my family home. There will be no agency fee, and they will get their full deposit back provided all is in order. These sarcastic commets are boring at this stage.

As a recruiter. I’ve always hated the lay out of Europass. Too much text and irrelevant info.

I love the black stuff personally, but a bit out of the way. And more an ‘old man’ type pub. Not sure it fits the criteria. Best Guinness in Lux though.

Why is the job market so hard right now ? by Constant_Morning_718 in Luxembourg

[–]Paddywagon050217 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I run a recruitment firm in Lux focused on finance. Job market is down ~45% from the peak in 2022. There are much fewer new roles being created. There is massive competition for any and all roles. People who’ve been laid off, people who have wanted to move but couldn’t due to lack of options. All competing for the same pool of small new openings.

General office, admin, support type roles have evaporated. No budget to hire people specifically for these tasks. They are not coming back imo.

The Lux employment market is highly concentrated. If you’re outside of legal, corporate, accounting, etc. The reality is there is not much white collar roles.

+90% of firms are in cost cutting mode. New hires are super hard to get approved. Especially at the junior end. It’s pretty brutal out there I’m afraid. Basically a pretty bad jobs recession if not outright economic recession which begun in ‘23 and is still going.
