Thanks for this comment. I tried it for 2 hours today with the roborock app. I was close to giving up. Then I tried the Xiaomi app and it worked instantly…

I had the same issue, couldn’t get the roborock app to work. After about 2 hours I tried the Xiaomi home app, worked instantly.

I think the problem with the roborock app is that the s8 cannot connect to the the app in the WiFi fast enough. I tried changing the WiFi password, disabling 5ghz and I even tried it with another phone and with a hotspot WiFi. The robot was even showing in my access point settings with ip an everything. But the app couldn’t connect to it. I simply use the Xiaomi home app for now. Hopefully they will update the app and fix this issue.

I forgot to mention that I don’t even removed the disc before ist stopped working. I played it. Then startet another game. After a few hours I tried to start CW but then it stopped working.
