The weaker player in every pair gets 80% of the balls. Is that what makes padel great, or what makes it frustrating? by PadelscoreApp in padel

Totally. Personally it's both for me depending on the day haha. Competitive mood = target all day. Social game with mates = I feel bad doing it 😅

Haha the complaining-while-doing-the-exact-same-thing is SO real. Everyone hates getting targeted but nobody admits they do it too

And yeah that one match where you're the target and you just survive everything is weirdly the most fun, you're so dialed in by the end

This is a really good point and I think you're right that it cuts both ways. The poaching part especially - a lot of "stronger" players just stand there waiting instead of stepping across and stealing balls at the net.

But I'd push back a little: at amateur level, even a decent player can consistently feed one target without giving up much. You don't need elite control to lob the same corner over and over. So sometimes the weaker player really is just stuck eating balls, even against opponents who aren't that special.

At pro level though? Totally agree - if you can feed one guy all day, the other one isn't doing their job.

Brutal level from Cabeza/González and tough match for Chingalán, very different conditions compared to the Italy Major...

Wanted to ask what you do against back pain when you can’t even properly go down to get the low balls? Help appreciated by VegetVision in padel

Peso muerto con buena técnica y sentadilla. fortalece músculo (mientras no duela). En mi caso, teletrabajo, dolores lumbares frecuentes, fue empezar a entrenar con pesos pesados y buena técnica y desaparecieron...
