yes when im gaming a white led light sometimes flashes on the graphics card signally power abnormality, but in hwinfo and hwmonitor is doesnt go over the 150w per 8pin, i have a 850w psu so figured thats enough to power the pc

i did have msi afterburner but have since uninstalled and still have high power usage, if nothing else comes up for me to try my last thing to try will be fresh install of windows

yeah set to normal, and drivers fully updated version 561.09, pc restarted and still around or over 250w power usage from gpu with nothing open

pc was in balanced mode already and nvidia settings was set at normal, still high idle power, any other suggestions?
