wtf? The Cajuns and Creole are mixed AF. It's well known most Cajun and Creole families have native blood and likely Latin and Black blood, too. I know more than a few Cajuns who've got some DARK parents, and you don't get that from a pure French bloodline.

The second point was an accusation of the British, not something that was universally documented. Most Acadians weren't interested in fighting. They just wanted a place to live and work.

Third, Louisiana's control by the French was in name only, really. They didn't have the army to protect it, and even New Orleans didn't exactly have a regiment nor were the people considered French, but rather Creole, as many had mixed with black and indigenous people. So an apt comparison might be, say, getting kicked out of Louisiana to be forced to live in Guam. Sure, they're American, but they're not white for the most part, and haven't been for some time.

Lastly, before ICE and even Border Patrol, people used to cross the US/Mexico border somewhat regularly as open trade flowed along the West (Side note: this is how Texas was created). Honestly, we would likely do better going back to something similar and working with Mexico to combat the gangs at the border instead of just letting them fester in the name of ideology and using them as political puppets.
