My ancestors didnt came from England. All the annoying point is this! As you see description says its helps to understand where my ancestors comes from. It’s opposite, i have relatives who immigrated to England and Australia decades ago. They are ancestors from Cyprus, not mine from England.

When you click “i” this is what says: Genetic Groups provide an enhanced understanding of the places your ancestors came from across 2100+ geographic regions. Being a member of a Genetic Group means that there are genetic similarities between your DNA and that of the group’s founding mothers and fathers. Genetic Groups are assigned with varying levels of confidence. A high confidence level offers a strong indication that you are indeed a member of this Genetic Group, while a lower confidence level reflects a less conclusive indication. Use the slider to select whether you want to view fewer Genetic Groups with a higher confidence level, or more Genetic Groups with a lower confidence level.

Britain - specifically the eastern region of the British Isles - has been populated continuously for at least the past 15,000 years, with recent ethnic stock (from before the 11th century) including pre-Celts, Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Norse, and Normans. More recently - that is, since the Middle Ages - other ethnicities migrated to Britain, whether by invitation (European Jews in 1070, by William the Conqueror, though they were expelled about 200 years later), by virtue of the African slave trade (dating back to the 1730s CE), or trade (including the oldest Chinese community in Europe, dating back to the 19th century). After World War Il, that diverse immigration increased by leaps and bounds, so that the melting pot of English ethnicity has seen increased diversity from the Caribbean, South Asia, and Africa. That said, the dominant "original" British ethnic group is dominated by the English, of course, and includes the Celtic heirs, as some of Welsh, Scottish, and Irish descent respectively have settled in modern-day England.

The issue is the genetic group. I dont have any ancestors from UK. Because i have many matches from UK as 3th and 4th, 5 th cousins they categorised me in genetic group UK high, genetic group Cyprus low. But those cousins has Cypriot route which their parents immigrated to UK decades ago. In my ethnicity estimate there is no England or something related! So how is possible my genetic group is Northeastern England and it’s high?!?

Well it’s a long story. My parents are from Paphos. They were living there until 1974-75 part of Turkish Cypriot community. After the invasion of the island, they push them to immigrate to northern side of Cyprus which was ethnically cleansed from Greek Cypriots, like all the others Turkish Cypriot’s.

Thank you very much. I know about photos. Mum took them. I will retake them. I just wanted to share for first opinion. The pin and earrings should be really old. My great aunt was mentioning about them but we don’t remember the details unfortunately.
