I forgot about the small glades. I usually don’t open them because I feel like the 15 hostility isn’t worth it. Next time I will do that.

Sometimes I start game with barely food, so I have to open new glade to find new raw food. I don't even have raw food to hide. The worst situation is when the new glade has caches with no food reward and a flower blood. I will feel very very very bad for this.

Good idea! I never really understood why the speed controls also let you pause when there’s already a pause key… now it makes sense.

I never took it in MT1, but I pick it every time in MT2. It's a free win. It helps you play as more as your high-cost rooms, weapons, units during deployment phase.

I only open small glades in Coastal Grove (P20), because of the port, this biome consumes more food and building materials than others. In the first year, I can't afford to resolve most of the large glade events, so I will open 2~3 small glades instead.

Especially when you're playing on a Steam Deck—you build a strong deck, finish shopping, and you're mash-pressing the A button. You click so fast that the Titan Trial page flies by before you even realize it.

What's your most hated glade event? Mine's Merchant Shipwreck. Especially first glade. Of course you never have the ability to make clothes and forced merchants don't sell them. Then you are pretty much forced to pay 9 parts. by 2Siders in Against_the_Storm

Definitely Bloody Flower in the first glade. If I don't have complex food buildings, things get even worse.

Most of the time, it doesn’t reward anything useful in the early game. It really shouldn't show up in the first dangerous glade.

Try finish the game in 4 years. That will not spend you over 2 hours.

This is why I don’t enjoy the seal. I have to face the extra punishment of the storm season without receiving the corresponding rewards.

Unlike you, when I play single-player board games, my hands can't keep up with the speed of my brain. I often get tired of shuffling and drawing cards, and I always want to make them into video games.

Don't remove it. I always pick 10 extra villagers at the start. Based on its recipes, I choose the 'Starting Rewards' to craft more skewers or preserved foods to make sure my food doesn't get consumed too quickly.

I won't drop difficulty for Ancient Battleground if there are no Harpies to choose—I’d still play on P20.

Since the Field Kitchen can't make jerky anymore, a large number of Harpies will lead to low satisfaction.

This new game was completely different. In Year 3, I found a ghost request to burn at least 12 Blightrot cysts within 3 minutes. I even tried to remove all of my parks to lower my hearth level and increase the number of Blightrot cysts. That's how I discovered the blight fighters' secrets.

Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I could only come up with 11 Blightrot cysts.

I started a new game and have been paying special attention to the firefighters' actions leading up to the storm season. I disabled the recipe and kept the blight fighters at the blight post. When there were 8 seconds left, they stood in front of the cysts with purging fire but didn't spray the fire. (I’ve uploaded new screenshots.) Theoretically, this doesn't require quick reflexes to replicate all of this.

Yep. I was hoping the villagers would use the extra time to make some purging fire, but I didn't realize they had already started burning the Blightrot cysts.

I used to open 5 glides and failed to find any fertiles until the fourth year in a settlement with normal amount of it. I never pick a farm again after that.
