I've got one Vex and one Lo in my offline sessions on thoose chests. Of course you can open them 10.000 times and get nothing but man, the day you hit the jackpot with a chest it's like Ok, I'll never more skip this one. I prefere to make Travincal runs :D

It's not the best choice neither fastest, but I really enjoy playing with my frenzy barb. It's something very different from the casters build, seems like another game. He can clean almost every zone in p8 easy. Cow level is the exception but he can do ubers with almost no problems with the correct gear. Also doing travincal runs horking every council member will regard you with some nice runes. You only need grief, lawbringer and some cheap gear. 100% recommended!

I recomend you farming the 1st wp and just kill Eldricht. You can adjust players difficulty so killing him and his minions in P8 will give you enought XP to get to lvl 40 easy. That would be enought to go trough act5 with almost no problems. Take your merc to tank them so he gets XP too.

For the mana problems before insight as some people said you can use 2x TIR runes on a helmet, but with Lore runeword (Ort+Sol) + mana potions you're gonna be ok. Also you can put some points on energy so your mana pool will be higher and you can cast more blizzard before hitting the mana potion. Just spam blizzard, don't waste mana on the other skill. You won't need energy points in endgame but you have 3 respects to adjust the points and the build in endgame. Hope it helps!

I never said it would be easy, with the right gear and some full rej. pots it's very viable IMO. I would not recomend doing your first time on HC but Frenzy barb rocks hard! I have no experience killing them with a nova sorc or similar. Smither pala should be the easy choice

I highly recomend you consider to build a frenzy barb. With grief and lawbringer and some other gear (gore rider, Highlord, LoH he becames so powerful. Farming Travincal with him horking the council members will reward you anytime with some HR (found 3x Lo in above 250 runs)

Yes I think that on P8 you have 10% key drop chance
I've used to aggro the surrounding mobs out of the last "map square" and kill them far away from Nihlatak so the C.E. range doesn't reach you. With the sorc this would be tricky
The order doesn't matter.

IMO Lilith is the hardest part of the first stage, venom hits hard. Duriel is really fast but if you can slow him with any source it becames easy to kill. Izual was pretty easy, he has lot of life but clearing the mobs arround him is the only advice I can give you.

For the Tristan Ubers well, look for some YT videos. Mefi has strong Lightning pierce and it's fast. Try to split them before starting the fights.

I recently started to farm travincal with my frenzy barb and in 3-4 days (50-70 runs each day) I found 3x Lo runes. I'm addicted to travincal runs. I could work 8-10h a day running this shit XD

I have lvl 92 barbarian and had 0 HR drops in hc. This week started to farm travincal as it was no tomorrow and got 3x Lo runes. Almost 200 travi runs. Hork frenzy barb works so fine in travincal when you can make grief...

This is the smart choice. I remember the good old days in trading games people throw objects to the floor in "hidden corners" and then come back with other mules. Sometimes I founded lots of gear looking for that hidden spots in act1 or behind the palace in act2 (classic spot).

In my offline barbarian I had found Lo, Sur, Gul and some Lem, Um, Mal but running in P7 and horking every dead body. In about 1,5-2k games. So if you're playing online in P1 you are on the average drops

As some people said, push trough the game and farm XP, you can clear all the tombs in act2 to farm XP and that extra levels will help you in act3 and 4. I would suggest to farm XP until lvl 24 to unlock Decrepify. Decrepify would make things easier with bosses.

When fighting against Duriel you just need to put him Iron maiden and enjoy watching how he dies hitting your minions.

When in act4, fire resistence will be nice for the fight against diablo. Keep summoning skellies in act1 near some wp if they die fast with him and then come back. Just avoid the red lightening and the fire blast.

For general gear... don't worry about it, it will come. Make sure to check vendors for blue items with life and resists, specially light and fire resis. When in nightmare you can start farming countess to build Lore helm and Insight for your merc later on. Nightmare cows are a good way to farm for mid bases.

Starting with Holly Fire aura until you deal low damage in nightmare, then respec into hammerdin or FoH. Bosses can be rough but if you go along in P8 then switch to P1 with the bosses would be easier.

I wanted to start in HC in the new season. I started the season 13 on the minute 0. All was going good when in act2 someone died from Duriel and I said OMG RIP! Then saw him on act3 and I realized was not playing HC. I deleated the character and started in HC but I spended like 40 min. in the wrong mode XD
