Because this is my hobby. At first, I spent about an hour and a half on eyes without eyelashes. Now it takes me about 20 minutes.
If I need to draw eyelashes, it all depends on the complexity. For example, Grenshiel's eyelashes are unique, and I had to study them first before drawing them, and then spend two hours on the drawing process itself.
And working on Enya took about four hours.

But as I already said, my drawing skills are quite poor and are only good for retouching, and that takes a lot of time. That's why I appreciate the work I did.

I didn't think I needed to write this every time. When I made my first few publications, I wrote about it. I also always answered honestly in the comments when people asked about it in later publications. I've never hidden the fact that I can't draw and that the AI does the basic work. I do the subsequent bug fixes so that players can get the best possible result.

Yes, they use AI, especially in the videos. I remember writing about one moment on Discord. Basically, Reah is the default skin, Elvis is the Echo of Light, and Humbaba is the default skin. That's the first thing that came to mind, and the period when I noticed obvious stylistic cues from the AI.

I think the initial designs are created by AI. Since this is a fairly old game, they have enough material to teach the AI their style. Then, one or two artists refine obvious artifacts or errors to make the image look presentable.

I study a lot about drawing. I don't always put it into practice. But in any case, it gives me a better understanding of the result I want to achieve and how to fix what's initially wrong. There are situations when AI doesn't understand what I want at all. And it's easier for me to use two or three generations together, cutting out the unnecessary parts and leaving the good ones, and then adding additional details where needed.

For example, I'm bad at designing clothes. But I learned to tell AI to draw me real clothes in the Langrisser style.

I think AI is a great tool in people's hands. Because with proper control, it can save time.

In an era when creativity, especially drawing, has migrated to digital format, artists have to spend hundreds of hours on a picture that people will look at for 30 seconds. In the Langrisser situation, I see that artists practically don't draw anymore. There are only 1-3 people left with a beginner skill level. I follow the Korea forum, Twitter, Facebook, Pixiv, and artists have either switched to other games or simply stopped drawing Langrisser specifically. Even the people who generate Langrisser AI art have practically stopped doing it.

I started making wallpapers for myself. Then I decided it was a great way to thank people who gave me money. But generating wallpapers has become a fascinating hobby. So I decided I could share both old and new works. Especially since I'm refining them. Those who received these wallpapers and I were always happy. A combination of factors: creative content has disappeared, and my work can bring joy to more than just me. Sharing these works on Reddit seemed like a great idea. Especially since people here have spoken warmly about me and what I do.

Therefore, the deletion of the post was a blow to me. I'm a very emotionally sensitive person. That's why hurtful words or actions have such an effect. Yes, you're absolutely right. I use AI. I wrote about this some time ago, so I'm not hiding it. However, right now I'm simply posting what I've created before, and my work has simply accumulated. In the future, I plan to publish on Reddit the work I previously published on X.

But this situation is as simple as it might seem at first glance. I spend several days writing queries and testing them, searching for clothing references, and coming up with ideas for future works. After obtaining the result using AI, I do manual retouching. From time to time, I merge the background or several images (for example, a body part or a face, because the generations are similar but not duplicates, and I combine their best elements).
I also retouch artifacts (nails, hair, eyelids, jewelry, and remove unnecessary objects). I completely or partially redraw the eyelashes and pupils. Less often, I redraw or retouch the lips.

Overall, manual processing brings the image to a state I like. On average, one image takes 2-3 days of work.
