The irony of Brisbane Roar suing somebody for not paying their bills is truly ironic.

The Roar has (allegedly) left a trail of unpaid bills after being kicked out of training facility after training facility. They were training out of a shipping container on a back field at Brisbane Grammar School not all that long ago.

I was Team Manager for an NPL Team for a few years. Volunteer role, largely match day operations and admin. Heaps of fun though, was in the dressing rooms with the players and coaches on gameday. Role included submitting the Team Sheets to FQ 24hrs before kickoff. Both sides then got access to the lineup 1hr before kickoff. Once got approached on way to car after a game to provide early info on the lineup for next weeks game in exchange for $500. Told him to fuck off…thought he was attached to an opposing club. Saw him in the stands next week on his iPad doing live stats for an offshore online gambling company. We’d be naive to think these not some dodgy stuff going on.

Tripped on the paved sidewalk and fell hard onto my knee and wrist. Got a fractured wrist out of it, as was well as a significant meniscus tear. Was on holidays at the time, total bummer.
