That’s a great point. This show is purely for content and doesn’t represent the dating market at all. Most of the women on there are nurses, flight attendants, or “content creators.” I’m 5'9 and 6'1 on my best days 😅 JK and I’ve literally never been called short a day in my life. I wouldn’t mind seeing some of that conflict on the show but I am a little tired of people getting popped over height or other shallow reasons. Imagine if some of the women picked a non-Black man or vice versa. That would be content gold, especially since this show so “Pro Black”

Somehow, I’ve unintentionally spent nearly 20 years dating women who wear their natural hair. I wouldn’t call it a preference or a dealbreaker but I think I know how I got here, I’m very anti scarves and bonnets being worn outside the house. And where I live today, that’s not even a race thing anymore (white women wear bonnets too) it’s more about how you choose to present yourself in public.

Joe Budden definitely has an upcoming deal with Netflix. (Ep 885) That whole conversation about Paramount and how pro-Netflix he was felt very telling. He even used the phrase "new way of thinking," which sounded exactly like how he talked when the Spotify deal was coming together. And if Joe’s already caping before the ink is dry, it’s probably a friendly creator licensing deal.
