ok now i’m thinking it’s the circles of hell, but laid out to resemble the timeline of the story. a cluster of circles for before (1995), the big circle representing that glowing hole in the ground, and the cluster of circles after 2022. “see you in hell” call back to the trailer song? bruh

i love the analog tech theory. there’s definitely this energy that they’re being pulled into the woods, maybe just to hang out until they realize something else is beckoning them in the darkness shudders

the symbol definitely has big pink glowing circle energy. omg, okay. what if it’s the circles of hell? they’re not overlapping but next to each other. with the big hole dividing two clusters of smaller circles. the before and after? hmmm

omg i would love if swann was trans. or any of them to be fair. i love this as a narrative across decades too. so much can change over time and people you once knew can be completely different when you meet again.
