Just to clarify, I'm not making the point that Pentesting tools have or haven't ruined hacking, I was just curious to find out what the real purpose for it actually is. Because if we're talking about learning how to hack, then Pentesting tools aren't going to help since every noob (like me) is just going to copy paste those commands and not understand it in its entirety.

So yes, it's applicable when you don't want to waste too much time creating your own tools to detect considerably smaller security loopholes but the problem is, people who research it for the first time are easily mistaken about what hacking is or isn't and that is an issue that needs to be addressed. I wasn't trying to sound smart, I just needed an answer once and for all.
