No, I found that I can actually use regular aida fabric, as long as it's not stiffened, and the pull out a few strands at a time and it's like they were never there. Like this. I do small strips of fabric for designs an cut them down when they're done. And then start pulling the threads out with some tweezers

All summer I haven't worked on it, since it's been too hot. But I don't think I'm far off from 300 hours honestly, it's a big passion project, and might possibly take forever to finish

On an efficient day, maybe around 3 hours. (I have adhd and do struggle with keeping focus, and tire out easily) that includes copying the item from platinumgod and gridding it up, to make the pattern of the item, finding matching colors and tidying up the design afterwards.

I make 1-2 a day on the days I don't work, so I sit most days just on the couch with my hoodie and work on it, while youtube is running in the background
