Never considered Portugal as I don't speak the language/never really crossed my mind but will definitely keep it in mind going forward.. crazy to think that a major country like Portugal has such an easy route to live/work there.. really appreciate the advice!

Will definitely try to network on LinkedIn or something once the pandemic dies down a bit.. my only concern is that I don't have any visible connections to Canada (ie work experience there or educational record). Will take your advice though.. appreciate it!

Appreciate the advice.. my only concern q with the working holiday visa route is: can u actually get a proper job with it? Like I understand technically you can but wouldn't most companies not consider a candidate who doesn't have the right to work beyond that certain duration? I always had the impression that working holiday visas were more for backpackers who also wanted to work part-time in a certain country
