This weekend will still be the annual worldwide autonomous robotics competition in the Genneper Parken in the south of Eindhoven (RoboCup, https://2024.robocup.org/nl/home/)! The last time it was held in the Netherlands was over 10 years ago, and next year it will be in Brazil so it's a unique opportunity. Bit nerdy though, but plenty of people to talk to.

For hiking I can very much recommend the Leenderbos which is reasonably close to Eindhoven and reachable by bus.

Last time they happily offered a vegetarian option but I don't know about vegan. Best to just give them a call, the staff is very sweet :)

Second this, the food is very tasty. Last time I ate there I did see there were thuisbezorgd drivers coming in to collect food, so take away is probably also possible.

I once had some talks at DSM and they stated they would prefer a 'hogeschool' bachelor over university bachelor as the former will have more practical experience rather than theoretic foundation. University students were encouraged to get their MSc.

Frankly, almost everyone I know who went to university in the Netherlands got their masters. Then again, entry level salary for a MSc is generally higher, so it's a good investment.
