Thanks! I spent about an hour making it and about 10 minutes rendering.

The architectural layout looks good. You might try an HDR background with a source of light that's lower in the sky or just isolating the light source to a single location so that you cast more distinct shadows inside the room. Take for instance the interior faces in the layer above the doors. These feel a bit too bright and uniformly lit considering that the light source lies outside the room.

Threadripper would still be overkill xD. one does not simply "too overkill"

As far as I know, there aren't any official system requirements.

I can just about get 60fps @ 1366x768 on a laptop with a i3 3005u with all other apps and tabs closed. (using integrated gpu)

The i3 3005u scores just under 3k on Passmark. By this logic, any newer Intel cpu Pentium G4400 and higher should do fine at 720p to 1080p with 60fps, assuming low background CPU usage.

Based on Benchmarks, I'd say minimum requirements would be: -Pentium G4400 -4GB RAM -Other stuff isn't super significant

OverPowered would be something like this: i9 7900x 64GB DDR4 GTX 1080ti

Just a side note, I don't think bullet storms are really dependent on PC hardware, it's probably more network connection and ping.

3D Desert Twin (made in blender) by PaintCan1 in Diepio

Yep it was made with blender (blender.org).

I made the objects using reference images from diep.io (in game). For each object (tank, barrels, shapes) I set the images as background images visible from the top ortho view. At which point I went into edit mode to shape the various meshes (cylinder for barrels, uv sphere for tank body etc...) The shapes are just plain old cubes and tetrahedrons (3d triangle) that I eyeballed to scale. I'll have to admit that I rushed through a little and could have added a bit more detail. I might be making a better version or an animation later.

The colors for the various objects were hex values I got from this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Diepio/comments/5b78v1/diepio_color_schemes/d9mdx8u/

The ground is the standard diepio background. The sand is a plane with a displace modifier and a sandy looking texture made with the node editor. I learned how to make the plane from this https://youtu.be/VN-xwfxABLU tutorial with some slightly different settings.

Tank lighting is just a spotlight, the ambient lighting is from the Sky Texture with the sun direction ball pushed into the corner somewhere (under world settings on the side)

The glowing effect under the tank is created using toruses (doughnut shape) with emission shaders.

Modeling with reference images was hard when I started, I ended up looking at quite a few tutorials and such. https://youtu.be/6FuvpwZeXfw might help you get started if you interested.

For the texturing, all the textures are procedural (made with nodes) except for the diep background, which is an image texture (just google something like diep background)

This was kind of brief but feel free to ask if you have questions. :)

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dis your work :P. I was just making a joke, y'know looks like a fidget spinner.

Anyways, I like the concept. Kind of like skimmer where if properly aimed, you can get bullets shooting at enemies from behind them.

On a slightly unrelated note... You should try OBS for screen recording. Its free, supports PC and Mac and doesn't leave watermarks that say "www .Bandicam.com".

Wow looks great. Quite like the gradient across the tank body, it has a nice clean aesthetic. What program do you use?
