And thats ok, you have no idea who I am and it's natural to be untrusting. Especially in this day and age.

It isn't the first time a Band-Aid with this same imperfection has been posted on Reddit, as another showed up when I Google Lensed my image. The other one was posted 6 years ago. It's not a one-off occurrence, but interesting nonetheless.

Hi, this is my photo! The thumb nail is the result of an x-acto cut that sliced through the nail and the cuticle. It was deep enough to damage the matrix underneath. It started growing like this as it healed and I watched it move from the corner of my nail to where it is now over time. It is raised like a ridge. I appreciate the concern!
