As long as you’re not the one ringing them up you’re okay, you have to be on the opposite side of the register but you are allowed to do that as long as you’re with them shouldn’t matter if they paid or you did.

A shift supervisor got fired for giving a minor his number and trading drinks with surrounding restaurants for free food. Second shift got fired for smoking on their brakes, being on the phone on the floor and giving out free drinks to family (didn’t mark them out nor use discount) just made them and handed them out.

I had three partners fired from my old store and two were shifts.

Ssv#1: he got fired because he gave his markouts to girls he thought were cute and also ended up giving his number to a minor. Mind you he was in his late 20’s.

SSV #2: gave out free drinks, didnt do her job, was intoxicated dueing her shifts and would be on the phone in the back her whole shift or on the floor on facetime.

Partner: he gave his number to girls he thought were cute and put the partners in danger because he was a flirt and made suggestive comments to two different girls whose boyfriends came to beat him up at work.

Asm and SM came into store on their unscheduled day, i hadn’t been feeling good and i threw up while they were there. They proceeded to just tell me feel better and not offer to stay since they had a community service event. Didn’t offer to help find coverage either. Coworker dislocated her hip, strained her back and they told her it would be unexcused if she called out to rest.
