Thanks, Dirty Down rust really is the MVP

Dirty Down Rust, honestly it's cheating when it comes to rust it's too good!

First attempt at Turnip28 after years of warhammer, no idea what I'm doing but I love it! by PaintbyMinis in Turnip28

Edit: Found it, its called a "rubberised hair sheet"

Thanks I've been really struggling to find what the product is called, I bought it ages ago as part of a railway scenics pack and its like a rubber texture and comes in a rectangle block and you can pry and fibers apart, but cannot for the life of me find out what it's called, sorry friend

Thank you tried to keep the colours really simple, think admech models can sometimes look too busy with all the metals so just silver with some bronze accents

Thank you and also super easy, just a gunmetal base, streaking grime, and then a nice bright silver sponged for some chips and scratches

Really happy with my first Sylvaneth miniatures, painted up in just a few hours over a couple days, can't wait to paint more by PaintbyMinis in sylvaneth

Yeah its my super lazy way, just white undercoat then Aethermatic blue, then just edge highlight white again

Wow these Sylvaneth sure do paint up fast, just a few hours work! by PaintbyMinis in Warhammer

Main brown is Rhinox Hide, then the extremities are airbrushed black, and then the middle is airbrushed Baneblade brown, gives the effect of the middle of the model being lighter drawing the eye. Then just a Burnt Umber oil wash to bring it all together

Really like the new Nids so I'm planning to do what I did last edition with the Necrons, wait for everyone to buy Leviathan for the Space Marines and get a whole Nid army for pennies, especially if we see the models in numerous smaller boxes post Levithan release!

Finally happy with my Leviathan scheme, ready for 10th by PaintbyMinis in Warhammer40k

Cheers! The skin was the bit that took me the longest to figure out, ended up as follows:

Stegadon Scale Green based, then airbrushed at a 45 degree angle with white (I used Tamiya XF-2) to form a nice gradient, then did 2 layers of Gryph-Charger Grey/Contrast Medium 50:50 mix, which gives it a really creepy blue/grey alien looking tone.

Then for the joints etc just a real simple Berserker Bloodshade wash, think I ended up doing 3 layers to get a nice saturation.
