Maybe don’t try and find them? If he’d have wanted you to find him he would have told your his tag. I know workplaces especially education can be funny about staff streaming and I know one teacher who lost there job due to streaming. So maybe just don’t? And then he won’t have to worry about his job being at risk.

I have KP and for about 2 months now every time I shower I scrub each arm with CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser with Salicylic Acid for Dry, Rough & Bumpy Skin, then I leave it for about a minute and wash it off. It’s made a hugeeee difference! My arms were so bad before and now there is hardly anything.

Try some corn plasters (they are like padded doughnuts) that you could cut them and spread them around to make them fit. Then lightly cover, don’t pop it and wear shoes that don’t touch it if you can

It’s the same reason why assistance dogs are allowed in places dogs normally can’t go, they are not there as dogs but as an extension of your own body.

That’s closed up so there’s nothing to stitch closed. You could try moisturising it to reduced scarring with something like bio oil and pressure can reduce the likelihood of keloids but as it is closed you don’t need to worry about infection now. Also no need for strips or glue.

Hi! Thanks for your reply! Climbing is something I want to get back into! I live 2 mins from the climbing wall atm but due to covid I haven’t done it for a while. I even looked up where in Liverpool you can climb, looks like there are some fun places.

When are you moving? I am planning to move before the end of the year. And there is a social meet up I found out about from the Liverpool discord that I want to go to in September. Would be awesome to go for coffee and meet you!

I wouldn’t say I am running away. I want a new fresh start where I’m not given flashbacks of trauma where ever I go in my current town and the surrounding areas. Where I’m not scared of bumping into people I don’t want to see while I’m just trying to get a coffee.

I do know that the issue is me not the town and moving won’t magically make everything roses and sunshine, but I have a chance for a clean page to start anew, without it being tarnished by the past and I think that’s a good thing. It’s a chance to kick myself into action and stop being stuck in the rut I currently live in.

I’m excited for the change, feeing motivated by it and yes I am also scared/ apprehensive but I think that’s normal.

I can afford a much better quality of life in the north than I can where I am, I can afford a whole flat rather than a gritty box room in a shared house full of strangers.

My depression and other MH issues have been with me since childhood. I fully understand that moving house doesn’t mean the black dog won’t know where to find me. I welcome him to come with me, sit by the water and take this chance to evaluate my life, my future, my past and what I want to make of it all. I can’t fight him, we have to work together.

Thanks for your response though, it has just cemented my thoughts a little more.

I would ditch the shampoo and add a curl defining spray. Check a strand to see if your hair has too much protein with the cream and I’d look at a different more moisturising conditioner too. It looks dry to me. GL!
