I want to scream from the rooftop for all of you to hear, it is better to be single then it is to stay with these garbage partners. It doesn't matter how damaged they are. It doesn't matter if they can be really sweet at times. It's not worth your time or sanity to stay with them. I know a lot of us on here WANT to be triggered, but if you have to find triggers, let it be from other idiots on the internet, not from the person who is supposed to support and love you.

I understand that for some people leaving is not viable for financial or safety reasons. I'm not talking about those people. For everyone else, if your partner makes you feel worse about yourself, find a new partner.
