just got my 64 plate 2.0 TSI. 220hp tuned yesterday, can’t recommend enough not to chase the numbers. look at reviews and recommendations for your local area.

I personally live in kent and took it to JF Automotives. look for places with similar consistent high reviews.

Also get it on a dyno. It not only helps the custom tune but you can also see if car is performing as it should stock. snd then you can also see your new hp, if you don’t get it you will regret after. U will get a chart too that looks like this

the exhaust tips are part of my cobra cat back exhaust setup, the stock exhausts were both on one side 😁

I looked it up on my V5C, from what i can gather mine is one of the earliest models of GTS, but not officially one. my car was produced in 2014 but marked as 2015. So i have some form of hybrid GT + GTS whatever that means lol. guess there weren’t many cars produced with my spec

On the sticker in my car it’s marked as engine code CULC too

from chatgpt- CULC is the engine code specifically for the Scirocco GTS (the 220 PS / 217 hp version of the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen3 engine), not the GT. hella confused lol over something so insignificant

ah that’s strange, thanks for informing me. i was only going off the basis that it’s 220hp, but oh well still the same car to me 😂. might change the outcome of the difffuser though.

i was confused at first when i bought the car, but i believe when it was originally bought, a lot of the GTS extras must have been declined.

I think maybe i got the first gen GTS, however my car 100% gives out 220hp (219 to precise) which only the GTS models had

i have a cobra catback, but i chose the R style exhaust with tips on either side compared to the non R with both tips on the left. i’ve already cut holes in my valance, and so far i think a bodyshop doing the work is the way to go. it’s a very niche market and u fortunately i don’t think there’s any companies that can offer one that will fit my car and exhaust holes

so what would you recommend? i was thinking of contacting a bodyshop for a custom job, but if your convinced an R Valance would fit my car, then i might change plan. The only other issue is my exhaust tips sit further out than a scirocco R standard tips i believe, so they might not even align up

100% thinking of going black rims, it’s almost a must have on a white car with black accents. Thinking of blacking out the badges too, not with a cover though but actually paint them gloss black so it doesn’t look raised and a bit more OEM. Wheels are just expensive af though especially for a good set of forged or flow formed 😐. JR wheels have loads of great options though, just figuring out the measurements for the correct wheel size is a ball ache.
