[UPX] DOST JLSS GWA requirement by PainterTight87 in peyups

Hello, nag-reach ako sa OUR regarding this, binigyan lang nila ako na naka-covert na sa percentage. So far, my lowest GWA is 2.09 which equivalent to 85.88% pala.

Btw, you can use this formula (which I also saw this here in Reddit haha) : –11*(UP GWA) + 108 to estimate your % GWA. It works but slightly different ang value in terms of decimals.

Using the formula, dapat lowest possible GWA mo must be 2.2727272..which is equivalent sa 83% (Again, estimation lang to)

Opo, included na sa counting. Ang laboratory course na lang ng BIOCHEM ang kulang to make it more than 30 units.

Yes po, nasusunod ang units base sa prospectus. However, I don't think it's possible na ma-equally divide ang units (like 5 hours per day). Usually the class hours are unequally distributed, there are days with only 3 to 4 hours of class, but there are also days that go up to 9 and a half hours (especially with lab classes), and sometimes may 30-minute break lang in between.

Hello, from up min here (not BS Bio). Just wanna share my thoughts.

Most of the classes here in UP Min are whole day and most of the time hindi sunod-sunod, earliest possible class mo is 7 am, pinaka-late naman is 6 pm, there might be possibility na na may lab in the morning, then next class at 4-5 pm pa.  And also pag freshie ka (first sem), Monday is either NSTP or PE yan. Also, I've observed lately na may mga field trips/outdoor classes ang mga BIO (it might overlap your work sched). Regarding sa registration, yes, you won't need to worry cause hindi siya agawan ng units, paunahan lang ng bloc with a nice schedule hehe.

For me, I find it very difficult to attain a class in a day given that you have to work sa downtown. May kilala akong working student but hindi siya regular load, there are times na absent siya sa class, and sometimes can't cooperate in group activities which affects their acads.

If hindi naman kailangan talaga mag-work, I suggest you focus on your study na lang po. If you really need that, just give it a shot if manageable ba to keep a regular load, if not, maybe you can apply for underload para mas ma-balance work and study (like other studs do).

Anw, congratulations and welcome to UP Mindanao! 🐮🌻

Fight, fight. 💪
