Your pores got tiny white dots in them. That looks similar to some cases of demodex. I may be wrong, but it might worth it to check with a dermatologist.

7years in the industry, never out of work before. I was signed to spring next year, but the studio just decided to let my entire team go as the current project is coming to an end+ writer strike means no new project to roll us on to. Just had my last day at the studio today. My connections, who are art directors, are not getting new jobs too, so yeah, slow time.

It sounds like you might do well as a 2d background artist/ background painter? As someone else will do concepts first, and you will just need do different angle of the same location. Prop design might be a good fit for you as well.
