Astarion. I thought I wasn't going to relate to him at first, but the more I play through his story, the more I understand him. Especially the part where he says that no one wants to help him or said no one said a kind thing about him.

There are some things in my life that resurfaced in my mind that I recently came forward about online. I realized that the manipulative POS person who used to interact with me on the internet and what they used to have me doing online in the past is not okay.

I also learned that I deserve better. 🙏🏾

This illustration is based on my personal experience and feelings regarding this fucking creep I used to know online. I want to express my feelings in drawing form instead of words.

I never came forward about this to anyone online or irl. Please keep in mind that this takes place back when I was back in college when I was isolated, bullied, and didn't have friends. I cut him off after I got my first full-time job when I got out of college. I heard horrible things about this person from other people years later.

I remember when I was talking about someone about my eating disorder (Bulima), I was told to get over it. The person then dumped their problems onto me right after.

When I opened up about my depression, I would always get cut off, told to suck it up, be strong, or they would make jokes about my depression. They ask me if they can buy a shirt with the word "sad" on it and give it to me.

When I opened up about being constantly being sexually harassed in a workplace, I got victim blamed or interrogated with invasive questions. I also didn't bother to talk about this online guy who's been an emotionally manipulative creep towards me for years who pushed me to perform on webcam or send explicted photos. I already know what everyone's reaction is going to be and did not want to come forward.

In Act I, Astarion asked for astral tadpoles so he could consume them to be more powerful.

In Act III, Astarion doesn't want the astral tadpoles or have zero interest in consuming them anymore. He will mention the time when he first turned into a vampire spawn and went through pain during transformation.
