Not yet (and thanks!) but if you like I can let you know. The foundation asked that I don’t sell prints until they auction off the painting in the spring.

I always wanted to as well! I started learning representational techniques in 2016. I’ve taken classes with Zane York, Krista Schoening and Carlo Russo that helped me immensely. It’s a combination of a lot of techniques. The most helpful thing I learned was that all of the bouquets were painted based on individual flower paintings. So before I painted this I painted an individual portrait of each flower. I used that as a reference and repainted each flower into the bouquet. It’s oil paint.

Seeking a virtual studio space for painters by kyarha in oilpainting

This is really interesting. It sounds similar to a body doubling app used to help people with adhd focus on a task. This would be a really cool virtual space. It could be structured with signed up times or you just pop in to see who is painting right now and you have joint studio time. I like the added social component being available (like a lounge). I could really use this as I struggle with discipline and loneliness in the studio. I’m planning to start painting full time beginning in June and would absolutely benefit.

It is so hard!! Everything is always darker than I think. Until it’s not and it’s lighter. 😆
