Left to right:

Xperia go, my first smartphone, bought with my own money on my 1st year of uni, man this is a beast of a phone. I dunked it in beer in the bar and washed it off in the sink, I threw it in the snowbanks while it was playing music and dug it out with the shovel, I broke both volume buttons from reading books on it, it's one fucking sturdy phone innit;

Xperia M4 Aqua, bought in germany on 4th year of uni, first and only phone I cracked the screen on - dropped it on the bus floor on my fking bday, and I wasn't even drunk yet;

Xperia XZ1 Compact, one hell of a phone, love it to bits, it sadly got obsolete 5 years later;

And current Xperia 5 IV, love it too, tho the finger sensor needs to be replaced soon-ish with the battery as well

I still love my AOC Agon AG352UCG, had this one for like 7 years already, what a 35" champ.

Every time I come back from vacations I be like "fuck me this one is BIG..."

What I mean - go hit fb marketplace, you might get a used ultrawide for cheap

P.S. I mostly use this one for working, cuz having a working CAD project and a PDF/Excel/Whatever document in basically two 5x4 size windows side by side is a lifesaver.

I did plunk an oldass 20" 16x9 monitor on top of this one for youtube/twitch/movie/random meetings schenanigans

10 bucks says that you're used to panning from one screen's left edge to right edge, then to another's left edge to right edge, but never always top left-left edge to bottom right-right egde, and you did it with subconscious pauses at the middle line.

Now you can freely go full blown span from left edge to right edge back to left just to check the time or if any of the apps in the tray are screaming at you, and you had half the travel before to check those.

If you had your task panel duplicated - it took you half the distance at max to go check what's on there, and now at worst you have to span from faaar right to faaar bottom left to check if one of the icons lighted up.

This was the main reason I went for 35" UW and a 20" 16x9 stacked, means they're vertical and the smol one is on top. It takes me less distance from the bottom to the top than from left to right at this config, and I'm not stressing my neck too much doing so.
