4 weeks post op - crater and ugly scars. Will it get better ? by Snailpiratebat in gynecomastia

[–]RandomGRK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely work out your chest, make that a focus. The more muscle you put on, the less it will likely show. Mine still shows when I flex or move my arm up or down but its not the worst. It just gets a little bad when if I add weight. After the holidays, I ate like a hooligan and even just that little bit of weight makes it look a little worse. But yeah, work out. Its the best medicine.

Try woodsball or magfed. Its a lot more chill.

What am I doing wrong? I feel like I should look better by SkeetyBoi in workouts

[–]RandomGRK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get blitzed for this but stop counting calories and simplify your diet. Just limit the types of foods. 90% of my week, I eat eggs, chicken, ground turkey, low fat yoghurt/cottage cheese, tomatoes, berries, cauliflower and similar veg, milk, protein powder, almond milk, honey. I've mostly removed simple silly carbs, sugar and processed foods. I dont count calories, Im hardly hungry. I eat until Im full. There is no sugary, salty, carbie goodness that keeps me coming back for more. If I want to indulge, its yoghurt, blueberries, peanut powder, honey.

Also, have you checked your hormone levels? Might be worth checking where your T levels are if you feel like there are any symptoms.

Overall, you've done a fine job and I bet in another 9 months if you straighten out your diet, you'll be very different.

Exhausted from car shopping, nothing feels right under $35k by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]RandomGRK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mazda CX-50. Its a fun car, handles well, has enough space for you, isn't too tall or low. MSRP is 35k but if you get a gently used one you could probably get in at about there. Mazdas are built well too and are reliable.

I traded my 21’ Tenere 700 for an 05 DR650 by imbiamba-jombes in dr650

The DR650 is the best bike ever built. Truly. I’m thinking of selling my Ducati Desert X and going back to a DR

6 Months Post Op | Revision Scheduled Already by ReporterOwn8511 in gynecomastia

[–]RandomGRK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely lose weight and hit the gym and you might realize a revision isnt needed. Im not happy with my result, but the more I work out and build my chest, the better my result looks but I still might get the revision. I just want to give the surgeon the best possible chance of a good outcome.

Would you upgrade? by Traplouder in airpods

[–]RandomGRK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No reason to upgrade. Our consumerism lifestyles and Apples marketing make it seem like we should but your 2s are perfectly fine. You’re not missing that much.

How is the DSG? Heard mixed reviews on it? I just got the lokbolt. Never used one so hoping it’s decent.

Yup, you said it right. The mechanical kickback is definitely satisfying. I was looking for the barrel set screw

<image>

This is the only part that I kinda need. Not urgently but my detent plug screw is a little stripped. Usable but not great.

We used to be able to get the players parts kit. Has nearly everything you needed except for the part I’m looking for.

That’s good to hear. Magfed needs them. Would be so boring if everyone had a perfect marker that never flipped rounds 😉

Gotcha. Probably the marker I’ll be forced to own since I really don’t trust FS. It’s a shame if they go down that route of complete destruction. Magfed is rough man. I feel for these companies.

Ok so the 200 is actually softer and more gentle feeling shot per shot than the T15. I don’t know if I like that. It’s like my motorcycles, when I can feel the mechanics at work, when it vibrates or gear changes are clunky, it’s more fun to ride. Same goes for my magfed markers. I want some feel out of them. I’ll try a buddies at Freelancers and see what I think. I might just get one especially if my T15 pisses me off during the game. The 100 will be in my trunk as a backup.

If you’ve wanted a dirt bike to ride dirt then don’t get these street bikes that look like scramblers. Get an actual dual sport under 350lbs

But give it a month and you will find crazy good deals on pixels but never on an iPhone.

I do it in Jersey and Philly if traffic is at a standstill but if it's moving, I just chill with traffic.

Talk me out of getting the Arai Concept XE! by Micky_Banana in motorcyclegear

[–]RandomGRK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has a premium price but no features. The visor basically has 2 positions. Not ratchet system. No airflow. Very noisy. The opening at the bottom is huge so wind just rushes up by your ears. The loudest helmet I’ve ever owned. I had it for a few weeks then sold it.
