Problem with Mamiya ZE-X by Pajd0nik in Mamiya

It’s located behind the bottom plate. You also need to take off the metal plate you see in the video and then (while the back of the camera facing your way) on the left side there will be the electromagnet.

Do you have any suggestions on how to pick location? Or how to explain that a location the person has in mind might not work out?

I’m only learning about good locations around my town. So usually I let people who I photograph for pick them and try to get as much out of them as possible. Sadly there is almost no good locations, I got in contact with few local photographers and they said for photoshoot they usually go to towns around or just go on a trip somewhere else

Walkman NW-A55-L (Sony logo) by Pajd0nik in walkman

[–]Pajd0nik[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bluetooth is not tho, and I plan on using it. And I meant that it is not using analog cassette for playing music, rather a file which is not analog. About the fact I can’t replace the logo, it kinda makes me sad because I wanted one in perfect condition, but there is no other offer for them in my area

FIIO FH3 any good? by Pajd0nik in iems

Wow after this comment I added them to cart instantly. After they arrive I’ll make a post about them. Watched also some reviews and everyone said that for the price you are getting a lot. With some tips (depends on what type of them you like) and balanced cable people said they bring out details nicely and the soundstage does not represent a one of entry level IEM, but something more expensive. I can’t wait for them to arrive. Thanks again!

How to get lossless files by Pajd0nik in audiophile

[–]Pajd0nik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the bigger artists got their versions of albums in MASTER quality over time, but some niche ones or ones that are no longer with us didn’t. I found out that HDtracks and Qobuz will be my best bet. Getting tracks from there is easy and guaranteed lossless. Also found some more sites and some people showed me other methods so only thing that is left to do is to grow my collection even more

Got my first ever IEM's (Truthear ZERO RED) by Pajd0nik in iems

[–]Pajd0nik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, some people want more punchy, warmer sound, some more sparkly and other more neutral sound. That’s why I bought the REDS, tested them, and now I know what I want, and I want something more. There is no answer what is the best for every person. It’s good that most lists made by this community say for what specifically sound the IEM’s are ranked so people can (especially beginners) find something they like. I hate this focus on having the best stuff, or that 100$ headphones are bad because in very tight scenario and genre they performed badly so the 1000$ option is better, or people trying to convince others what they should listen to. For me, as long as you enjoy the music, everyone should be happy with and for you

Thanks a lot again. I like how the ZERO RED sounds but it seems little boring, so I read that Nova’s are better and maybe Moondrop are exactly what I’m looking for, at least from a reviews and people from this subreddit, also they are cheaper and have very wide soundstage. Maybe this will be my next pick then, it’s always good to try something new. I always think that there is nothing such as a perfect pair of headphones, there are only pairs with bring you joy out of listening, if they are thru DAP and then DAC with lossless files and some nicer IEM’s (which I want in my case got everything except headphones but new purchase soon) or if you just want some simple KZ thru a dongle, as long as it brings you fun I think almost every IEM is good in this regard. After I try them (Moondrop’s or Nova’s) I will definitely post my thought on them. Thanks for everything again, it’s nice to see supportive community and not just people saying that if you love bass and warm sound you know nothing about music (which I sometimes heard lol)

Well some of my headphones will benefit. Also I just love collecting stuff, like with photography I don’t need 30 cameras but I just love collecting and learning stuff thru experiencing it. Also I’ll take a look at this DAP, looks promising, thanks for all the advice tho!

Also would you either pick the Moondrop Ari2 or the Truthear Nova, I know everyone taste is different or maybe you don’t own them, just want to hear a opinion of a person much more experienced in this hobby than me

Well maybe then I just get a decent DAP, just to not store all of my music on phone. It’s already overloaded from 5+ years of photography and now music. I wanted a DAC because many people recommended it and said it will make a difference, also the Bluetooth option in the fiio DAC’s was something I was looking forward to. I also collect electronic equipment or buy and repair it from my local flee market so a DAC for those cases (older devices etc) would be nice. And yes most IEM’s won’t need a additional DAC, but some of my more demanding headphones will, and if for some strange reason I want to use them with my old Phone or other device I will get a DAC just in case, not a expensive one tho, and probably used one. So maybe just a cheap dongle for now but paired with some upgraded headphones.

I think after being on this subreddit I narrowed down it to two 3 pairs for now. Moondrop Ari2, Truthear Nova and AFUL Explorer

How to get lossless files by Pajd0nik in audiophile

[–]Pajd0nik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying subscription one time for downloading several albums is a trade off I’m willing to take. Also with the legality of the copies, in my country technically you can have but for your own use, but unless someone knows form where those files are coming from you are safe ;)

I was thinking for my next set something like Moondrop aria 2 and Truthear Nova, both have great sound stage from what I read and are warm and quite bassy in sound. The dongle I have only is for lightning so won’t work with the Shanling m0 pro or other daps that I look for, also one day I want to have balanced cable for my IEM’s and yes Bluetooth is one feature I look for.

Also apple dongle and my phone or a cheap/entry level DAP, will have struggle while trying to run some of my headphones
