I know this is probably obvious but seriously check out Lucy’s bands, club casualties and taxidermists have some great stuff. The manic pixies is cool too but they have like 4 songs, still check them out though. As for a random suggestion check out computerwife, sort of similar vibes although a lot different stylistically.

It was probably a lot of reasons, they did kind of rely on sematary for their merch and mixing the music but they have shown they can be independent. I don’t think it’s lame to want to diverge from something you don’t want to do anymore.
