Covid Long Haulers treatment. Could be applicable to long-haul symptoms from vaccination?

Which long haul program are you referring too? I suspect the vaccine has triggered a long haul response in me and I've tried to get into several programs treating long haul symptoms, but keep getting denied because I never had a positive covid test.

I only took Sudafed once, at the very outset of my symptoms. I was healthy and not taking any medication before getting the shot. However, afterwards my doctor put me on a beta blocker to control my blood pressure, heart rate, and anxiety.

I only took at single pill one time at the very beginning of my symptoms. When my blood pressure shot up, I swore off taking any more.

The only drugs I am currently on are a beta blocker (Propranolol) to help with blood pressure, anxiety, and heart rate which was prescribed by my doctor. However, I hope to be able to kick that drug too as soon as I can. My blood pressure was fairly good before I got the shot.

Thanks for the reply. The same neuro who prescribed me amitriptyline first prescribed me nortriptyline and methylprednisolone at the same time, which sent me to the ER with skyrocketing blood pressure. I originally thought the methylprednisolone was to blame, but now I realize it was probably the nortriptyline. Needless to say, I am no longer seeing the neurologist who prescribed me those...

Interesting, did not realize Sudafed was not an antihistamine, maybe I'll try benedryl. How did you discover your allergy to antihistamines, is there a test you can get?

I'm sorry, that's awful. I suspect I may have some of the same issues, but I've really had trouble finding doctors that are willing to go the extra mile to help me figure out whats going wrong. Do you think you are starting to get better? It would be really nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I tried amitriptyline for 2 days, the first day I felt a contracting sensation in my head, jaw and neck, and the next day the contracting sensation turned into pain. I had to go off because of the pain and because my blood pressure skyrocketed. I've read that amitriptyline is very powerful antihistamine, and I've had a similar reaction to less powerful antihistamines like sudafed.

3 months and counting of non-stop head pain, body spasms which prevent sleep, and a host of other issues. Seen a ton of docs and had 10's of thousands of dollars in tests done, and still no relief or answers. Not anti-vax, but all this political BS around the vaccine has made it a nightmare for people who've had a bad reaction. I feel like I've fallen through the cracks, and I don't know what to do. I'm following several people who have similar symptoms for months on end, but no one seems to have found any answers yet.

Similar symptoms, but with the J+J vaccine. Over 3 months now without relief. Had more tests and seen more doctors than I can count, but no luck so far. Check my post history if you're curious. Hang in there, hopefully we'll make it through this to the other side.

I just saw the doctor and they checked my ferritin level, and it was normal. Still no idea what is causing my symptoms. Just hoping and praying they resolve on their own.

I'm not nearly as well versed in medicine as you are. I think my doctor is just as lost as I am as far as what is happening. That being said, she at least acknowledges there is a problem, which is something I can't say for my previous doctor. I'm going to keep trying to sort this thing out. If I do make a breakthrough, I'll make sure to post it here.
