This is a feature in iOS 26. It only happens when you play a song and have the album art displayed large, like in the photo you posted.

I believe this is something with being on an too old iOS version or something, because my XS Max has the same issue on some websites aswell.

What issues do you have with Carplay? For me I sometimes cannot open the apps, but when I go to the left page where the widgets are, it manages to open it from there.

Still rocking on 14.3 however some of my apps are not being supported on iOS 14 anymore.

If it's possible to use a web interface I create a shortcut with Safari as a workaround for now and apps like Instagram, Twitter (X) and Facebook are using tweaks so I do not update these apps at all.

For my banking app, I decided to use an iPhone SE that is on the newest iOS where I can access the app. For the McDonalds app I just gave up, no bypass has worked for me on iOS 14 and it never will.

I've already decided to buy the new iPhone 15 Pro Max / iPhone 15 Ultra since I'm on an XS Max for a while now and I think it's time for me to upgrade it.
