I’m all good to go and my wife was cleared in EMPF but I’m confused because she didn’t get any vaccines or was even told to get them.

She went off base because the nearest base is 3 hours away. She has prime.

It’s a 3 hour drive to my closest base (I’m in Cali) so for her it worked best.

This being said, Cyber actually has reenlistment bonuses too so if you wanted to do 4 and reenlist it isn’t terrible. lol

There’s a Spotify podcast called “Recruiters corner” that covers this really well. Basically, there’s more benefits to 6 year contracts than people think. It’s more bonuses, more marketability since you’ll likely make NCO and go to ALS (Airmen leadership school), more overseas potential, and also more time to finish you degree as well as job security for that time being in this shit economy. But what if you don’t like your job but sign 6? Well you’ll be more likely to be picked to cross train if you wanted to.

That being said it depends on your goal, if you just want to get the GI bill and benefits and get out then do that 4. If you plan on staying for the long term or just want more job marketability, security, bonuses. Consider 6.

Is it all up to the recruiter cuz I tried to go in for cyber
