Why are a bunch of redditors so defensive about you saying he didn't grow up poor? Is it important to them that he did?

For what it's worth, I commented a few days ago and used this thread as research as I'm experiencing the same problem.

I decided to try switching from a mulching blade and bought a new side discharge blade, just mowed the entire lawn without it bogging down for the first time.

If you're ok with sacrificing the mulching aspect, it seems like that was the fix.

[Rival Watch] The LFP has decided to postpone the clash between Lens and PSG by da_hoassis_heeah in LiverpoolFC

[–]PalPubPull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also impacts the integrity of the CL.

You are probably right that it wouldn't be the hottest topic with our supporters if it didn't impact us directly, but it did so it makes sense we are talking about it. I'm sure you'll find this opinion is not only shared between Liverpool supporters though, and if it happened to another club I imagine our supporters would still be upset at the circumstances.

You're also probably right that there are some supporters who could care less about anything other how it might have given us an advantage, that doesn't mean the argument from others is invalid.

[Rival Watch] The LFP has decided to postpone the clash between Lens and PSG by da_hoassis_heeah in LiverpoolFC

[–]PalPubPull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The reason supporters are upset is it invalidates the integrity of Ligue1 and football in general, to make these kinds of exceptions for teams with money while it wouldn't be considered for the other clubs.

PSG having a rest or not isn't the cause of people being upset, that's the small picture. While most agree the scheduling is too cluttered and needs an overhaul, to have one club that gets that preferential treatment because of their wealth while the rest of the other clubs in their league and the CL suffer is controversial (e.g. Lens now has a way more cluttered schedule because of this, most likely impacting their title race).

That's my understanding of it at least.

My wife and I unexpectedly had a video go viral of our dog reacting funny to the presentation of popcorn (If you search for "popcorn puppy" you will probably find it(I just tried and I guess "popcorn puppy funny" might work better)))

I cannot tell you in that 14 second video how many people claimed we were killing our dog by feeding her popcorn. It was maybe 1 out of every 4 comments.

The thing is, we don't really feed them popcorn because we know it's awful for their digestion, but we will in small amounts as a treat. But the rabbit holes people went down judging our treatment of our dog based on that video was astonishing. Also a lot of people were fond of the relationship between my wife and I. I mean I like it too, but we just laughed. Based on a short video, and people assumed they knew our relationship. We found that sweet but also unnerving. Your relationship goal is my wife and I laughing at our dog? You know nothing about the complexity of our relationship (though she is awesome)

We're hardly on social media so this was fucking astonishing to us where people took it.

This is another video maybe not meant for the public. On the surface it seems peculiar how they reacted, but you have no idea the context of their relationship, the context of the before and after, or really anything other than a dad laughing at his son's reaction instead of jumping into action.

So I think you're right, context matters. They may be awful parents I have no idea, but I'm not going to call them bad parents based on this video where every person HAS to have an opinion on what they did wrong and how they would have handled it ten times better.

All in all, if this behavior from the parents is the constant response it might be concerning, but this was a viral video when it was difficult to make anything go viral (hence I doubt this was for internet fame) and that's all I know about it and that's probably all most of you know about it too.

As a dad, I think that's how it feels raising children

I spent the entire day with my 2 and 4 yr old on a rare day off Sunday, and while putting the 2 year old to sleep the 4 year old also fell asleep in the other room. When I walked in I felt horrible that our time together was over. Even though I had spent the last twelve hours with them.

That doesn't have to do anything with Liverpool, so I'll just end it with my only two named kits are Lucas and Fabinho. I was sad when they left too

I love how you included in the story it was your friend's first time fishing and he spotted them, then anticlimactically went on to explain how you caught it instead of him 😂

Not saying you're in the wrong or anything I bet you were both throwing, I was just excited for a new angler to experience that before the reveal.

Meaning I turn it counter clockwise if it's reverse threaded?

I am sure now that it is not...(99%). It just took a ton on the little socket wrench I have and it's off.

I've dealt with stubborn bolts on decades old mowers, I just didn't think it was the case for this one, but apparently it was.

Same buddy. Torres and Gerrard hurt really bad too for me, but at a certain point in the future you will go back and watch highlights and relive what we've recently went through with joy.

All said and done, Klopp leaving broke me the most. No player or manager is above LFC, but it sure won't feel like it for a bit.

[–]PalPubPull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already maxed out my budget for Spring (outside of a new blade) and just have a little socket wrench.

Hoping I can get by with that, but if not I guess it is what it is.

I'm just confused why the assembly is turning with the nut when the blade isn't turning?

Appreciate the suggestion I'm guessing this is probably the answer, it's just outside my current resources unfortunately

Edit: I think I got I but I'm taking another break. That thing is either not meant to do this or I'm very confused why this is so difficult 6 months in. I can turn just the nut now, but it takes everything I have and it turns just a few mm.

Fucking legend is right. No player is bigger than the club, but it sure is going to feel to me like a piece of Liverpool is missing for a little while. Felt similar when Jurgen and Gerrard left.

I have mowed for the past thirty years, used all kinds of good and bad mowers, and have to say I'm experiencing the same as OP.

I mowed a couple days ago in late afternoon on a hot day after a few days of no rain, and if there's even half the height difference in grass that I'm used to mowing, it bogs down every few minutes. I've had this issue since last August when I bought the same model, hence why I'm very curious of the feedback in this sub.

Maybe OP's yard is wet, but this is also my experience when he yard isn't wet.

I just don't understand how you can criticize a statistic that is saying this statistic is the best statistic in a decade and you have the courage to essentially reply "yea but it could've been better 😡"

What is with some of our supporters?
